Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote well-being.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
- Accurately document care activities and follow individualized care plans.
- Ensure the client’s comfort and dignity at all times.
Key Traits:
- Ability to respond to an emergency situation.
- Patient, respectful, and gentle during all care tasks.
- Attentive to detail and responsive to client needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and maintain professionalism.
- Prior caregiving experience with dementia care required.
- Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray, per state regulations.
- Valid driver’s license and car insurance.
