United Group Services is seeking a detail-driven Project Controls Specialist to help keep our mechanical construction projects on time, on budget, and on target. You’ll be the link between the field and the office—tracking costs, updating schedules, and turning complex data into clear insights for our project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project proprietary production tool and budgets
- Track actual costs vs. forecast, and prepare variance reports
- Support change order pricing and assess financial/schedule impacts
- Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and earned value analysis
- Identify risks and help develop recovery plans
Qualifications
- 3 years of project controls experience in mechanical or industrial construction (piping process systems)
- Experience with ERP/project management software (Project Site)
- Solid understanding of budgets, cost coding, and earned value methods
- Sharp attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Must be willing and able to travel nationwide and work onsite at construction projects for extended periods, including assignments lasting several months. Flexibility to relocate temporarily based on project needs is required. Compensation for travel expenses are provided.
Pay: $38.00 - $55.00 per hour
