This is a full-time hybrid role for a Field Engineer based in Boston, MA with some opportunities for remote work. The Field Engineer will be responsible for providing on-site and remote technical support, troubleshooting, and field service for precision grinding machinery. Additionally, the engineer will manage projects related to installation, preventive maintenance, and upgrades, ensuring optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction. Building strong customer relationships and effective communication will be essential to success.
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose and resolve machinery issues effectively.
- Field Service expertise with experience in equipment setup, maintenance, and repairs.
- Exceptional Communication skills to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Experience in Project Management to oversee installations, upgrades, and other client projects.
- Willingness to travel as needed to customer locations and perform service on-site.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in the manufacturing or precision machinery industry is a plus.
