Responsibilities
- Assist with pipe installation, fitting, and assembly according to blueprints and schematics.
- Support the reading and interpretation of technical drawings and building plans.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques safely and effectively.
- Help maintain plumbing systems by performing routine repairs and troubleshooting issues on-site.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including power tool safety and construction site safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects meet building code compliance and quality standards.
- Support the setup and cleanup of work areas, ensuring a safe and organized job site at all times.
Skills
- 2 years of plumbing experience.
- Knowledge of construction plumbing systems, pipe installation, and maintenance.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge including familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites and power tool operation.
- Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset when interacting with team members or clients.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and understanding technical specifications.
- Field service experience or handyman skills are advantageous for troubleshooting tasks.
