What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Auditor position at UNITED FACILITIES?
45% - Outbound Orders:
· Audits outbound orders to ensure accurate quantities, material numbers, lot numbers, and unit integrity.
· Indicates picked date and time in Warehouse Management System (WMS).
· Notifies drivers to correct all discrepancies and notates on audit sheet.
· Gathers all required COA’s for outbound shipments when needed; emails COAs if required.
· Files all outbound paperwork.
· Boxes and ships outbound UPS orders according to established customer procedures.
45% - Inbound Orders:
· Checks and receives all inbounds for Raw Ingredients.
· Ensures all inbounds have COAs prior to receiving. Files COAs by vendor.
· Verifies all lot numbers, code dates, and material numbers, ensuring they match paperwork.
· Enters code date information in Warehouse Management System.
· Inspects inbound orders for damage and marks damaged product.
· Places License Plate Numbers (LPNs) on each unit and receives accordingly.
· Files all inbound paperwork.
· Assists with customer return process.
5% - Communication:
- Communicates internally with United Facilities employees, temporary associates, and management personnel regarding auditing questions and/or daily activities.
· Communicates with drivers regarding required corrections on outbound orders. Reports repetitive mistakes made by order pickers to the Shift Supervisor or Team Leader.
- Communicates externally with vendors to obtain COAs.
- Communicates externally with customer’s international contract accounting team regarding inventory adjustments, holds, PO discrepancies, over/shorts, etc.
- Maintains self-composure in stressful circumstances.
5% - Safety:
- Follows general safety practices and procedures including proper use of PPE and timely reporting of accidents, incidents, or safety concerns.
· Responsible for following any food safety processes and guidelines that are provided. Any identifiable food safety issues should be reported to UF Management Immediately.
· Ensures work areas are free from hazards.
- Attends and engages in safety meetings and discussions.
