Role Description The CADD Designer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Houston, TX, with the flexibility to perform some work from home. Primarily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, creating utility plan and profile drawings under the supervision and direction of a project manager. Proficiency in MicroStation is recommended. Strong utility relocation background with abandonment, and adjustments for water, sanitary, storm sewer, natural gas distribution and transmission experience is a plus. Candidates must be able to multi-task, have strong attention to detail, and manage several projects or activities at one time.
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable of MicroStation (minimum MicroStation V8i) and/or AutoCad. (Must bring examples of CADD projects)
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work both independently and in team settings.
- Ability to solve problems and use good judgment.
- Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in drafting, design technology, civil engineering, or a related field is a plus
- Must have a valid state driver's license and a good driving record.
