Key Responsibilities
- 24/7 care coverage As a Travel RN, you will provide round-the-clock care for patients for one week at a time, working with the patient’s family to coordinate shift schedules in accordance with the patient’s plan of care and approved hours.
- The position involves traveling and providing continuous care for the entire week-long assignment.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients in their home setting, ensuring a high level of comfort and safety.
- Execute plan of care directives accurately and in accordance with physician’s orders.
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior to the case manager or healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the treating physician.
- Collaborate with case manager and physicians to ensure optimal patient care, including communication with specialists as needed.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and proper care management techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and provide detailed progress notes to the case manager regularly.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during the course of care.
- Assist with ADLs as necessary, ensuring the patient’s comfort and dignity at all times.
- Prepare and provide clinical notes and charting to clients' case managers on the patient’s overall progress, including any changes in condition or care needs.
- Compact RN License in good standing required.
- Ability to travel for week-long assignments as required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- CPR Certification required.
- Independent contractor status - you will manage your own schedule and work as an independent professional.
- Malpractice insurance is required.
- Ability to pass a full background check.
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential in providing top-tier care.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to various patient needs
