Position Summary
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Lumpers/Warehouse Unloaders to join our warehouse team in Azusa. In this role, you will be responsible for manually unloading freight from shipping containers and trailers, organizing products onto pallets, and preparing shipments for warehouse processing. This is a physically demanding position that requires stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manually unload cartons, boxes, and products from containers and trailers.
- Sort, stack, and palletize merchandise according to warehouse procedures.
- Verify product counts and report shortages or damaged items.
- Wrap and secure pallets for storage or transportation.
- Move products using pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Follow all warehouse safety policies and procedures.
- Work closely with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet daily productivity goals.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or lumper experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Able to stand, bend, reach, twist, and lift for extended periods.
- Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Stand and walk for the entire shift.
- Repetitive bending, squatting, reaching, and twisting.
- Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
