Concrete General Superintendent
We are seeking an experienced Concrete General Superintendent to oversee multiple concrete crews on large commercial, industrial, and civil construction projects. This leadership role will manage field operations, scheduling, manpower, production, and project performance across multiple active jobs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee 4 concrete crews performing paving, flatwork, curb & gutter, and miscellaneous concrete work
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and scheduling across multiple projects
- Monitor project budgets, production goals, labor costs, and overall financial performance
- Work closely with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, and owners to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
- Maintain quality control and enforce safety standards on all job sites
- Lead field teams while driving productivity and accountability
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Concrete Superintendent or General Superintendent
- Strong background in concrete paving, flatwork, curb & gutter, and site concrete operations
- Experience managing multiple crews and concurrent projects
- Understanding of project financials, job costing, and production tracking
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to read plans, coordinate schedules, and solve field issues quickly
- Experience working with labor unions is a plus
