The Repacker is responsible for checking and cleaning returned or handled products for quality, discarding damaged products, packing good products in a case, and sealing cartons and boxes. Returns product to a shelf or builds a case that will be placed back into a pick bin location using power equipment. Beer Repack will maintain the safety/sanitation/security of the warehouse environment and appropriately handle all materials following company policies and procedures. Associates should be flexible to perform other functions such as inventory control, sales pick up, bottle picking, shipping & receiving, replenishment, and returns.
Qualifications:- Must be 18 years or older
- Six months of warehouse experience in a similar position strongly preferred
- Six months of experience operating an electric pallet jack required
- Experience in operating a cherry picker, forklift, and other power equipment preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain hourly performance goals
- Check product for quality and remove with a towel unnecessary liquid or glass
- Place damaged product in designated dumpster
- Determine the amount of product received for repacking and store the remaining cans or bottles on an assigned shelf
- Pack good products using a valid expiration date in a case and seal the carton/box using a hot glue gun
- Stack cases on a pallet, move completed cases to an assigned location and scan them back into the inventory location
- Complete quality control when location inaccuracy is determined
- Keep appropriate records to guarantee inventory control, rotation of stock, and security are maintained.
- Assist with physical inventories as required
- Perform and submit a daily power equipment checklist to the appropriate manager
- Report in writing any safety or mechanical problems with the power equipment
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Conduct operations and maintain the facility in a neat, clean, orderly, and safe manner
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse

Physical Requirements and Essential Functions

- Able to perform greater than average lifting (50-65 lbs) with some overhead lifting required
- Must have specific vision abilities that include close vision, distance vision and the ability to judge distance
