We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. This full-time, on-site role, based in Stockbridge, GA, involves providing high-quality patient care in collaboration with our renowned team of gastroenterologists. Responsibilities include diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal conditions, conducting physical exams, prescribing medications, performing minor procedures, and educating patients and their families about treatment options and care plans. The APP will also participate in care coordination with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Clinical expertise in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning within gastroenterology or a related field
- Proficiency in performing relevant procedures and using medical diagnostic tools
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers in a team setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and multidisciplinary coordination
- Active licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Georgia
- Certification from an accredited program (e.g., AANP, ANCC, NCCPA)
- Experience in gastroenterology or a related specialty is preferred but not mandatory
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care and fostering patient trust
- Flexible and adaptable with excellent organizational and time management skills
