What You'll Do
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments
- Sterilize and maintain clinical equipment
- Take dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations
- Support patient flow and provider efficiency
- Educate patients on post-operative and oral hygiene instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
- Provide an outstanding patient experience from check-in to check-out
- Active Dental Assistant Certification or Registration
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Dental radiology certification (if required by state)
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- EFDA Certification (where applicable)
- Coronal Polishing Certification
- Sealant Certification
- Experience with digital radiography
- Experience with dental software and electronic health records
- Experience in PPO, Fee-for-Service, and/or Medicaid environments
- Bilingual skills (if applicable to market)
