What You’ll Do:
- Lead dynamic training sessions with UDT’s threat-based reality simulator, force-on-force courses, and indoor/outdoor live-fire ranges.
- Teach firearm safety, handling, and shooting techniques to individuals and groups, from beginners to advanced shooters.
- Instill safety protocols, ensuring every participant masters the rules and respects the power of firearms.
- Maintain training equipment and uphold a secure range environment during all sessions.
- Assess student performance, offering clear feedback to boost their skills and confidence.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, new gear, and techniques to keep UDT’s curriculum world-class.
Schedule:
- Full-time, 40 hours/week.
- Note: Our facility opens soon.
- Location: 4848 E Cactus, Ste 220, Scottsdale, AZ 85254
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years as a firearms instructor or law enforcement officer.
- Mastery of UDT’s in-depth curriculum (we’ll train you to deliver it flawlessly).
- Deep knowledge of firearm safety, handling, and operation across handguns, rifles, and shotguns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse learners.
- Comfort teaching in high-energy simulator, force-on-force, and outdoor range settings.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks with precision and calm under pressure.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NRA, USCCA, AZPOST) and licenses—or willingness to obtain them.
