Role:
The Facilities Care Specialist is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the Credit Union’s facilities. This includes lobbies, offices, restrooms, and common areas. The role ensures a hygienic and professional environment for members, employees, and visitors by performing routine cleaning tasks according to established standards and procedures.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, lobbies, and employee offices / desks.
- Vacuum carpets and clean hard surface flooring (sweep, mop, buff as needed).
- Dust surfaces including desks, counters, furniture, and fixtures.
- Clean interior glass doors and windows, including entryways and partition glass.
- Remove trash and recycling from all areas and replace liners.
- Restock restroom supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels.
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces (door handles, teller counters, misc lobby areas).
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to management.
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and safety protocols, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure the facility is secure upon completion of duties if working after business hours.
- Hours for cleaning will vary based on the Credit Union’s needs.
- Quarterly visits to other branches for deep cleaning.
Knowledge and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality within a financial institution.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management skills with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Previous cleaning experience in a professional or banking environment preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
