ENERGY DISTRIBUTION MANAGER

Position Summary:

Manage and oversee the delivery of propane, refined fuel, and lubricants to United Cooperative’s members. Manages policies and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and improved delivery performance for the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all activities related to distribution of Energy products to End users.
• Supervise LP, Refined Fuel, and Lubricant (CLT) delivery personnel.
  • Safety and Compliance for drivers – CTEP.
  • Procedural activities – i.e. paperwork filled out properly – inspections, tickets etc.    
• Conduct Driver Safety and Accountability Meetings on a regular basis.
• Manage driver efficiency reports on a monthly basis.
• Manage LP, RF, and Lubricant bulk plant upkeep.
• Manage LP, RF, and Lubricant rolling stock.
  • Licenses, inspections(VK, Hydro, Meter proving).
  • Expense control.
  • Spare trucks.
• Conduct efficiency audits on all routes regularly.
  • Manage routes to delivery cost goals.
  • Work with Energy Administrative staff to continue to evaluate routing software performance.
  • Work with Service Manager to manage tank utilization.

Qualifications:

• 10 years’ experience in logistics, route management, and/or delivery management.
• 5 years supervisory experience.
• Energy and Petroleum experience a plus.
• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience required. 

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
