United CoolAir, LLC is an original equipment manufacturer of HVAC equipment, and we have been serving our customers for over 30 years. We are looking for high energy, enthusiastic team members with a desire for growth and success to join our legacy and contribute to our continued success for years to come. We are looking for an Assembler to join our team at our York, PA facility. This position is in our production facility, it is a full-time position with the prospect of growing within the organization. Typical hours are Monday to Thursday 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, overtime may be required when necessary to meet commitment dates.
Job summary
As a Assembler you will utilize various skills to produce high quality commercial HVAC equipment and meet the needs of your customers. You will assemble a variety of components, subassemblies which may / will start from basic components to a completed piece of equipment with quality inspections built into each step.
Responsibilities/daily tasks
- Perform assigned product manufacturing and or assembly responsibilities.
- Assemble HVAC components based on blueprints, schematics, and written or verbal instructions.
- Use a variety of hand, power and or pneumatic tools to complete the assembly and or system within the customer equipment.
- Perform in-process checks and inspections throughout the process.
- Complete shop paperwork / records to ensure that equipment is being built in accordance with the manufacturing / customer requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Comply with the safety regulations and properly utilize personal protective equipment.
- Abide by all internal United CoolAir polices to foster a safe, efficient, and exciting work environment.
- Work with your manufacturing lead and team to meet scheduled deadlines.
- Collaborate with various departments when necessary to provide the highest quality product to your customers.
- Offer suggestions to streamline assembly processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous work experience in a fast paced, and dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication Skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Experience and ability to work in a team setting.
- Ability to work successfully with multiple business functions of an organization.
- An entrepreneurial, self-motivated, positive individual who can think innovatively.
