JOB DESCRIPTION

Field Engineering Interns tasks include but are not limited to the following:

• Work directly with Field Supervisors and Project Managers to help coordinate scheduling of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.

• Maintain and update project schedules, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.

• Prepare and track submittals, change orders, RFIs, etc.

• Communicate with project owners and stakeholders to relay progress updates and resolve issues.

• Track quantities and submit to project ownership to ensure proper payment.

• Ensure field crews have all necessary tools, materials, and safety equipment to perform their work safely and efficiently.

• Support quality control and compliance with jobsite safety standards and procedures.

The Field Engineer Internship is designed for individuals who have successfully completed our Supervisor-In-Training Internship and would like to gain experience in a Project Management role. Typical career path for those interested in project management would be Field Engineer to Project Manager or Estimator based on experience, interest, and aptitude.
