This role is built for someone early in their project management career who's eager to get their hands on real work. As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll be embedded with experienced PMs and field leadership from day one - supporting active commercial projects, sharpening your coordination skills, and developing the instincts that define great construction managers.

Your Responsibilities
Project Coordination
- Support planning, scheduling, and resource management across active commercial projects
- Track project milestones and deliverables to keep timelines and budgets on target
- Identify process improvements and contribute ideas that make the team more efficient
Communication & Stakeholder Support
- Serve as a point of coordination between project managers, field crews, clients, and trade partners
- Maintain clear, consistent communication across all project stakeholders
- Prepare progress updates, status reports, and project documentation
Quality & Compliance
- Partner with field teams to uphold workmanship standards and client expectations
- Monitor project records including contracts, submittals, and change documentation
- Support adherence to project specifications and company quality benchmarks
Problem Resolution
- Step in when challenges arise and help develop practical, timely solutions
- Coordinate across internal teams and external partners to maintain workflow continuity
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Background in commercial construction or project coordination - any specialty exposure is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with construction management software is a bonus
