Job Description
We are looking for a Parts Counter Sales professional who will assist customers over the phone and face-to-face in ordering and researching parts for John Deere equipment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Selling, stocking, receiving, and delivery of parts and accessories
- In-store customer service
- Overall organizational promotions
- Working with vendors and alternate resources
- Being a team player and working with internal and external customers
- Monitoring shortages and expediting processes
- Maintaining a clean and orderly parts department and warehouse
- Ensuring inventory control practices are followed
Requirements
- Provide robust customer service to internal and external customers
- Basic computer skills
- High Energy and positive attitude
- Good computer research skills
- Strong customer Service Skills
- Excellent oral communication and written skills
- Strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in customer service
- Experience with John Deere Equipment
Education
- High school diploma or GED
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and telephone
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements
- Hearing ability is sufficient to communicate with others in person or over the phone
- Light to moderate lifting may be required (up to 50 pounds)
- Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, and bend as needed
