What You’ll Do
- Manage end ‑ to ‑ end recruiting by coordinating candidate communications, interview scheduling, feedback collection, offer letters, background and credit checks, and guiding candidates through onboarding.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, division leaders, and HR partners by providing market insights, talent recommendations, and recruiting best practices.
- Assess applicant qualifications to build strong, diverse candidate pools for each role.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop fair interview strategies and objective selection standards.
- Prepare and/or support the creation of job descriptions aligned with business needs and inclusive hiring practices.
- Deliver a high ‑ touch, positive candidate experience through proactive communication and follow ‑ through.
- Lead or contribute to the development of innovative recruiting programs, including internships and emerging ‑ talent initiatives.
- Develop focused sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and monitor key recruiting metrics.
- Act as a go ‑ to resource for complex requisitions, advanced sourcing strategies, and stakeholder challenges.
- Partner with Marketing and hiring leaders to promote United Community’s employment brand through inclusive content and effective recruitment messaging.
- Utilize recruiting tools, vendors, and resources responsibly to deliver cost ‑ effective and efficient hiring solutions.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
- Support onboarding and development of new team members to ensure consistency in recruiting processes and candidate experience.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to anticipate workforce needs and align recruiting strategies with organizational goals.
- Exercise sound judgment in high ‑ volume or complex recruiting situations, building credibility and trust with stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition or a closely related role.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations (EEO, ADA, OFCCP, etc.).
- Advanced experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting metrics.
- Previous experience recruiting within the financial services industry preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a focus on cultural inclusion.
- Demonstrated success recruiting roles from entry level through senior leadership, including technical and hard ‑ to ‑ fill positions.
- Proven ability to manage high volumes of requisitions while maintaining strong attention to detail and time management.
- High proficiency using Indeed, LinkedIn, and other job boards to build and maintain candidate pipelines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong sourcing and relationship ‑ building skills within local labor markets.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to align recruiting strategies with business and organizational objectives.
- Must be able to pass a credit and background check.
- This is a full-time, non-remote position in a professional office environment.
- Up to 25% travel required.
