What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Teller position at United Community Bank?

We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual or high school student to join our team in Frazee for up to 20-25 hours/week! At United Community Bank, our part-time Teller position will provide you with professional work experience to build up your resume, and skills that will benefit you later in your career. Some different options of hours we are currently looking for are:
- 12:00/1:00pm-5:00pm M-F and rotating Saturdays from 9:00am-12:00pm
- 8:30am-5:00pm M and F, plus 4-8 hours mid-week, rotating Saturdays from 9:00am-12:00pm
- 2:00pm (or after school) until 5:00 M-F and Saturdays from 9:00am-12:00pm
There would be flexibility to pick up more or adjust hours as scheduling needs fluctuate, if the candidate has interest in that.
The successful candidate will:
- Provide excellent banking service to clients in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain a basic understanding of our banking products and services
- Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions
- Maintain confidentiality with customer account information in accordance with United Community Bank's privacy policy
- Fully comply with company and departmental policies and regulations
Direct experience is not necessary, but previous customer service experience is a plus! This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a competitive salary.
This job requires skills needed in a typical office environment. This includes computer skills, communication skills, as well as utilization of office equipment. Must have the dexterity to count money. The ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information is highly desired.
