Senior Commercial Loan Operations Assistant (LOA)
United Community is seeking an experience Senior Commercial Loan Operations Assistant (LOA) to join our team. The Senior Commercial LOA plays a pivotal role in the commercial lending process by collaborating with Commercial Relationship Managers (CRMs) and Loan Closers. They support both new and existing customer loans, handle key administrative tasks, and ensure smooth credit facilitation. Their responsibilities include collecting information for risk assessment, preparing essential communications, and working closely on loan closings. This role is perfect for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide essential sales and administrative support to Commercial Relationship Managers (CRM) and other partners, making a significant impact on our commercial lending process.
- Support new and renewed loan production by collecting, ordering, and tracking crucial information for accurate risk assessment and underwriting.
- Prepare important written communications on behalf of the CRM, including commitment letters, term sheets, and thank you notes.
- Assist CRM by monitoring reporting and identifying necessary actions for maturities, auto-renew letters of credit, insurance, and real estate taxes.
- Work closely with CRM, Commercial Loan Closer, Underwriter, Doc Prep, and/or outside counsel on loan closings.
- Collect customer financial statements as required by the loan agreement and load them to Credit Lens.
- Coordinate ongoing disbursement requests, including working with Construction Administration.
- Complete assigned post-close tasks in Credit Lens and manage WIP files, resolving critical and material exceptions as assigned.
Requirements For Success:
- 5 years of experience in credit or customer service within the financial services industry
- Preferred: Experience with commercial loans
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Knowledge of federal and state banking regulations
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Conditions of Employment:

- This is a full-time, non-remote position

Salary : $38,769 - $57,876
