Assistant Head Teller
United Community is seeking a dedicated Assistant Head Teller to support our branch operations. In this key role, you'll ensure the smooth functioning of the teller area in the absence of the Head Teller, maintain accurate cash records, and deliver exceptional customer service. You'll also play a vital role in training new tellers and enforcing operational policies and procedures.
What You'll Do:
- Supervise teller activities and ensure efficient daily operations when the Head Teller is unavailable.
- Maintain accurate records of vault and teller station cash balances.
- Oversee currency accounts and assist with vault money control, including ordering and balancing.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and courteous service to customers.
- Assign tasks, resolve issues and support tellers with complex transactions.
- Investigate cash discrepancies and assist in teller training.
- Enforce departmental policies, procedures, and security protocols.
Requirements For Success:
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in teller operations, including formal teller training.
- Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.
- Proficiency in computer operations and standard office equipment.

- Must be able to pass a criminal background & credit check
- This is a full-time, non-remote position
