UCU, Inc. is seeking a dependable, motivated Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team. No sewing experience? No problem! If you have a strong work ethic and production or manufacturing experience, we'll provide the training you need to succeed.
Duties
- Operate various sewing machines efficiently to assemble products.
- Follow detailed sewing instructions, including seam construction and product assembly techniques to meet daily production goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering strictly to safety standards in production environments.
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues promptly, and perform basic maintenance as needed.
- Ensure all finished products meet quality standards in production.
What We're Looking For
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
- Previous production or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to sit for most of the shift while operating a sewing machine.
- Ability to use both hands and feet to operate equipment.
- Ability to read and follow Sales Orders and Training Instructions.
- Lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally bend or twist.
