Position Overview

We’re seeking motivated, business-minded professionals who want to build a rewarding career in commercial energy advisory. This opportunity is open to both entry-level candidates ready to learn and experienced advisors or brokers seeking a more professional, analytics-driven environment. You’ll receive direct mentorship, structured onboarding, and access to UCEP’s proprietary supplier network and ERCOT market intelligence platform.

Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new commercial and industrial accounts across Texas and surrounding states.
- Support existing client renewals and strengthen long-term partnerships through proactive service and transparency.
- Analyze energy usage (kWh, demand, load zones) and assist in developing tailored procurement strategies.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to deliver pricing proposals, supplier bids, and cost-savings recommendations.
- Stay current on ERCOT market trends, forward pricing, and supply/demand forecasts.
- Maintain accurate activity tracking and client records in HubSpot CRM, Outlook, and Teams.

Qualifications
- Highly motivated, persistent, and goal-driven, with strong personal accountability.
- Excellent communication and phone skills — comfortable engaging with executives and business owners.
- Organized and detail-oriented; capable of managing multiple client accounts.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in sales, finance, or energy is a plus but not required — full training provided.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365; CRM experience (HubSpot preferred).

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary $38,000 – $48,000 (based on experience)
Commissions: Uncapped, paid monthly
Performance Incentives Monthly and quarterly bonuses
Total Earnings Potential
$75,000–$120,000 in the first year with performance
