We are seeking a dedicated assistant manager for our warehouse operations which feature a unique temperature controlled setting ranging from zero degrees to 60 degrees. While the environment can be chilly we insure your comfort and safety with high quality gear and well structured breaks throughout your day.
Job Duties: Is responsible for general warehouse operations and managing the warehouse when the general manger is out of the office. Daily tasks include pulling, stacking and loading orders. Equipment used on a daily basis can include pallet jack, electric pallet jack, sit down forklift, and stand up reach forklift. Will be required to correctly count and label incoming inventory. Must be responsible for a clean and organized work environment. Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment : Ability to work in a fast-paced moving position for long periods of time required. Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
Will report directly to the Manager. Will be responsible for caring for and pointing out maintenance needs. Must be responsible and able to communicate any issues should they arise. Will assist in trainings and management initiatives with the team.
Preferred Qualifications: Email, software experience, leadership, warehouse and forklift experience desired. Experience in shipping, organizing, and receiving products is a plus.
