CMM Operator – Romer Arm / PC-DMIS
United CNC Machining is seeking an experienced CMM Operator to perform first article, in-process and final inspections of precision-machined aerospace and defense components.
Responsibilities:
• Operate Hexagon Romer/Roamer Arm or equivalent portable CMM
• Create, edit and run PC-DMIS inspection programs
• Perform first article, in-process and final inspections
• Complete AS9102 FAI reports
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T and customer specifications
• Document results and identify nonconformances
• Work with machinists, programmers and Quality to resolve dimensional issues
• Maintain AS9100D/ISO 9001 and ITAR compliance
Qualifications:
• 3 years portable CMM arm experience (Romer/Roamer, FARO or similar)
• Proficient in PC-DMIS programming and operation
• Strong GD&T and blueprint-reading skills
• Aerospace/defense inspection experience preferred
• AS9102 experience preferred
• Familiarity with standard inspection equipment
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• U.S. Person status required for ITAR compliance
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift approximately 25–35 lbs.
