Job Title: One Act and Spring Musical Director
Reports To: Athletic Director

Position Overview
United Christian Academy is seeking an experienced and dedicated Theater director to lead our high school and middle school theater program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to fostering each students' physical, emotional, and spiritual growth, creating a positive and competitive team culture, and upholding the mission and values of United Christian Academy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and lead all aspects of the theater program, including practices and the production and off-season training.
- Develop and implement a philosophy that aligns with the school’s mission to inspire students to grow in faith, excel in academics, and build Christ-like character.
Coaching and Player Development:
- Provide individualized and team instruction to develop players’ technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical fitness.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, discipline, respect, and sportsmanship among students.
- Promote player development at all skill levels, ensuring a positive experience for all participants.
Program Administration:
- Collaborate with the Athletic Director to schedule practices, games, and tournaments.
- Ensure compliance with school, conference, and state athletic association rules and regulations.
- Manage equipment and props, ensuring all items are well-maintained and accounted for.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and team achievements.
Community and Parent Engagement:
- Communicate effectively with parents, players, and school administration regarding schedules, expectations, and team updates.
- Represent United Christian Academy positively in all interactions with other schools, referees, and the community.
- Support the broader athletic program by collaborating with other coaches and attending school events.
Qualifications Required:
- Proven experience directing theater at the high school, club, or collegiate level.
- Strong knowledge of the rules, strategies, and techniques of the theater.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- A commitment to the mission and values of United Christian Academy.
- Ability to model and mentor Christ-like character and behavior.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Experience participating in the theater at the high school, collegiate, or professional level.
Expectations:
- Be a positive role model who inspires student-athletes to excel on and off the field.
- Commit to the full soccer season, including preseason preparation and postseason play.
- Actively support the academic and spiritual development of student-athletes.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity in all aspects of the role.
