What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Inclusion Facilitator position at United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Dane County?
Summer is just on the horizon! Join UCP and have a fun summer in the sun at our inclusive day camp! Mentor and assist our school aged and teenaged campers as they participate in field trips and group activities. Over the summer, you will build meaningful and impactful relationships with our campers and other facilitators.
Responsibilities
- Be present and engaging
- Support participation in guided and self-directed camper activity
- Promote safety, wellbeing, and the development of friendships
- Collaborate with other facilitators to enhance the overall camp experience
- Provide flexible support options, congruent with camper care plans
- Maintain open communication with your supervisor and parents regarding their child's experience and any concerns that may arise.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a camp, classroom, or recreational setting is preferred
Location
- Various locations throughout Dane County. We have sites near YOU!
