Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Syracuse, NY, for Millwrights, Carpenters, and Piledrivers. The role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and conducting repairs on construction projects. Daily responsibilities include operating and maintaining power and hand tools, assembling structures, installing and dismantling machinery, and ensuring the safety and stability of work sites. Teamwork, safety compliance, and attention to detail are integral to this role.
Qualifications
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and Maintenance & Repair tasks
- Proficiency in using Power Tools and Hand Tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow technical plans and blueprints
- Understanding of safety practices and protocols on construction sites
- Physical fitness and ability to handle physically demanding tasks
- Relevant certifications, such as forklift operation or OSHA training, are an advantage
- High school diploma or equivalent; specialized trade school education is a plus
