What are the responsibilities and job description for the LEO- Site Leader position at United Boys & Girls Clubs Of Santa Barbara County?
Site Lead needed for an after-school program in Lompoc provided through the United Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara County. Applicants must be available to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1pm-6:15pm and Wednesday from 12:00pm-6:15pm.
Responsibilities:
-Plan, implement, supervise, and evaluate activities in the core areas of Education, Arts & Crafts, and Fitness Recreation
-Facilitate daily lessons as necessary
-Maintain the ability to multitask to ensure structure within daily programming
- Maintain daily/weekly attendance records and submit by designated due date
- Maintain the overall structure of the LEO Program to ensure the daily functions align with C.D.E. standards
-Provide ongoing support to youth developments specialist and other site staff as well as volunteers
-Recruit new members
-Maintain a positive attitude
-Provide guidance and role modeling
-Motivate youth and manage behavior problems
-Create, Cultivate & Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, program staff & school administration
-Attend Mandatory weekly & monthly meetings as well as facilitate weekly staff meetings
-Maintain a structured format for employee evaluation input
Requirements:
-At least 18 years old
-High School Diploma or GED
-Have an Associate's Degree or pass the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Exam provided by Lompoc Unified School District
-Negative TB test
-Clean criminal history
-Cleared Drug Screen
-Experience working with children
-Bilingual is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 28 per week
Experience:
- Childcare: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
