What You’ll DoAs an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find the right automation solutions. You’ll support outside sales, manage quotes and orders, and build lasting relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and web.
- Prepare and follow up on quotes, orders, and delivery timelines.
- Provide technical product support and recommendations.
- Collaborate with vendors to source products and resolve issues.
- Maintain CRM and ERP records accurately.
- Support outside sales with lead generation and account coordination.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- 2 years of inside sales experience (industrial distribution preferred).
- Knowledge of pneumatic and electrical components (VFDs, PLCs, sensors).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems.
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
