Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sweeping, and ensuring proper adhesion for sealcoat application
- Mix and apply sealcoat materials using spray rigs or squeegee methods with precision and attention to detail
- Assist with paving activities
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and conducting routine equipment inspections
- Support construction site activities by helping with utility locating, site grading, and general labor tasks
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while ensuring quality workmanship
Requirements
- Prior construction or paving experience is highly preferred; familiarity with construction site operations is a plus
- Experience with utility locating is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
- Strong work ethic with physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions
- Willingness to learn new skills related to sealcoating and paving processes
