Role Overview
The Graphic Designer supports the production, sales, and customer service teams by transforming client concepts and brand assets into production-ready files for screen printing, embroidery, heat transfers, and digital decoration methods (DTG/DTF).
Key Responsibilities
- Artwork Preparation: Prepare, clean up, and size vector and raster artwork for screen printing.
- Color Separations: Produce accurate spot-color and process-color separations, including specialty inks (e.g., high-density, discharge, water-based, and foil applications).
- Film Output: Output transparency films using RIP software (e.g., AccuRIP).
- File Enhancement: Fix, vectorize, or redraw low-resolution customer artwork to meet industrial print standards.
- Proofing & Mockups: Create visual mockups for client approval and coordinate with the sales/customer service team on limitations and turnaround times.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with press operators and shop managers to troubleshoot file issues, mesh counts, or ink-coverage challenges.
- Process Expansion: Stay open to learning new decoration technologies like Direct-to-Film (DTF), Direct-to-Garment (DTG), or sublimation.
