What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Social Media Assistant position at UNITED APPAREL LIQUIDATORS, INC.?
We are seeking a creative and reliable Part-Time Social Media Assistant to join our team!
Key Details:
• 10 hours per week
• Minimum 6 hours in-store; 2-4 hours remote
• Primary focus: Content creation for Instagram Stories for our brand
• Must be available remotely for at least one weekend day (up to 1 hour between 9:30–11:00 AM)
Responsibilities Include:
• Posting prepared weekend socials (remote)
• Creating/posting Stories and responding to DMs (weekly)
• Updating Highlights
• Preparing items for photoshoots (steaming & decensoring)
• Coverage when the Social Media Manager is at photoshoots & PTO
Required Skills & Tools:
• Strong graphic design abilities
• Thorough understanding of Instagram platform features, algorithms, and best practices for posting
• Must have access to a smartphone (required for creating and posting content, especially Stories and remote work)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Interest in fashion
• Background in retail or branding is a plus
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, walk various distances, frequently climb/descend stairs, and lift/carry up to 30 lbs unassisted
