We are seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a locum opportunity in Tucson, Arizona. This position offers a diverse caseload in a Level I trauma center and academic environment.
Position Details
- Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (2x10s or 2x12s). Providers unable to meet this minimum will not be accepted.
- Scheduling options include 4x10s, 3x12s, or part-time (minimum 20 hours/week).
- Minimum commitment of 3 months, with the option to extend.
- Experienced providers preferred, though new graduates will be considered with an extended orientation period.
- Hospital privileging takes approximately 30–45 days with an active Arizona license and clean provider file.
- Approximately 50–65% of time will be spent in offsite locations, including:
- Endoscopy (6–7 rooms daily)
- Cath Lab (2 rooms)
- Radiology (1 room)
- The percentage of offsite coverage is expected to decrease over time as staffing increases.
- Patients are typically ASA III–V.
- CRNAs will cover a wide range of cases including:
- GYN, Spine, Ortho Trauma, General, Bariatric, Vascular, Pediatrics, ENT, Colorectal, Neuro, Podiatry, General Trauma, Endoscopy, Cath Lab, and Radiology.
- No coverage required for:
- Hearts, OB, or complex vascular procedures such as AAAs, thoracic cases, or organ transplants.
- Complex Endoscopies
