Job overview and responsibilitiesBe a member of the Threat Intelligence program at United by Collecting, analyzing, assessing and disseminating open source and classified information about cyber threats and potential attacks.
- Work with advanced cyber security tools, network topologies, intrusion detection, incident response
- Participate in intelligence sharing meetings with key corporate, industry and government stakeholders including the Aviation ISAC, Star Alliance, FBI, DHS, TSA and United's IT, HR, Legal and Corporate Security departments
- Conduct analysis for, write and develop threat daily, weekly and as required threat bulletins, reports and products under direction of senior analyst
- Develop and present cyber threat reporting for diverse audiences up to the executive level
- Assist in incident response engagements by providing technical expertise, research and insight into actor motivations and tactics, techniques and procedures
- Gather and analyze intelligence for decision makers to inform cyber security risk assessments

Required
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
- Computer Science
- At least three years of related experience
- Minimum of one year of experience performing network and host advanced analytics principles and methods, and information security processes and techniques
- Experience writing technical reports and developing presentations for a broad spectrum of technical and non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of the intelligence cycle
- Ability interpret and apply finished and raw intelligence
- Skills with advanced cyber security tools, network topologies, intrusion detection, incident response
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
