Position will work on-site at University of Alabama- Birmingham.

The instruction, coaching and support provided will equip students with the necessary skills for employment immediately upon graduation from high school. Collaborating with other team members, you will:
- Provide job coaching and individualized support to high school students in community businesses targeted at teaching skills needed for employment after graduation
- Attend training provided by school personnel to become knowledgeable of strategies and current practices in the field of supported employment
- Train students in grooming, hygiene, communication, interviewing and behavior as it relates to successful employment
- Communicate with employers, co-workers, school personnel and family members regarding the student’s success on the job
- Submits and completes required paperwork
Applicant general qualifications include:
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Successful completion of motor vehicle screening
