Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism in their homes and community settings. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and implement individualized treatment plans designed to build meaningful skills and improve daily functioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism
- Implement behavior intervention plans created by a BCBA
- Collect accurate session data and behavior notes
- Assist with skill acquisition programs (communication, social skills, daily living skills)
- Support behavior reduction goals using positive reinforcement
- Collaborate with families and caregivers during sessions
- Maintain professional, ethical, and compassionate care standards
- Attend supervision, training, and team meetings as required
Required Qualifications
- Active RBT certification (or willingness to obtain quickly)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Experience working with children (ABA, autism, special education, childcare, or similar)
- Ability to pass background check
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and sit on the floor for extended periods
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
