Responsibilities
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed
- Ensure that products are produced on time and meet or exceed quality standard
- Determine the human and material resources needed
- Ensure production is cost effective
- Ability to create and manage production budgets
- Ensure planned KPI’s of efficiency and performance are met or exceeded
- Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices
- Coordinate, set up and implement standard operating procedure for all production operations
- Work with managers to implement the company’s policies and goals
- Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed
- Supervise and motivate a team of workers
- Review the performance of workers
- Track competencies of subordinates and provide leadership and development as required to achieve the objectives.
- Assume General Manager duties in his/her absence
- Support and participate in training programs to develop personnel and improve performance
Experience
- Demonstrated success in production within a fast-paced, technically focused environment is essential. Must be hands on and capable of producing, managing and implementing manufacturing processes.
- Must be results-oriented and demonstrate analytical thinking, innovation, flexibility in dealing with changing and ambiguous situations.
- Demonstrated success implementing lean initiatives and standard operating procedures within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent leadership skills and a drive to develop manufacturing leaders.
- Excellent management skills including superb communication, delivery of results, consultative skills, partnership skills and team building.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
