Job Title: Production Assembler
Location: Dexter, Michigan
We are seeking an experienced Production Assembler to support manufacturing operations involving electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
Schedule
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Important: Candidates hired for 2nd shift must complete at least two weeks of training on 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) before transitioning to the 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
- Perform production assembly of electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, including modules, boards, panels, frames, and cables.
- Follow diagrams, schematics, visual aids, process flow sheets, and written or verbal work instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, saws, and other production equipment.
- Perform continuity checks and basic testing on work-in-process and completed assemblies.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet established specifications.
- Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test assemblies or prototype products as required.
- Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic production equipment when needed.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or abnormalities.
- Maintain accurate production records and follow established safety and quality procedures.
- Support other manufacturing activities such as processing, packaging, inventory, shipping, or receiving as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in production assembly, electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a related environment.
- Ability to read and follow diagrams, schematics, visual aids, and work instructions.
- Experience using basic hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
- Must be flexible and available to complete required 1st-shift training for at least two weeks if hired for 2nd shift.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
