Unite for HER is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting those diagnosed with breast and ovarian cancers. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, analytical individual to join our team in a multifunctional support role. This position serves our external beneficiaries as well as internal teams. The position requires strong organizational skills, technical proficiency, and excellent communication skills. Because our work directly touches the lives of those navigating a cancer diagnosis, we’re looking for someone who brings genuine empathy and kindness to their work, along with a desire to contribute to something bigger than themselves. The ideal candidate is a team player who can bridge data, systems, and people to help operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage nutrition services offered to program members, including order processing and customer service.
· Serve as a point of contact for our program outreach, nutrition and accounting staff, program members and vendors, providing timely and professional support to manage the full order to service delivery to payment process.
· Manage financial records and transactions using QuickBooks Online.
· Work directly within multiple databases.
· Build, maintain, and analyze spreadsheets to support needs across teams, including reports on members served, services utilized, etc.
· Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues and members.
Required Qualifications
· Working proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables –the candidate must be able to manipulate and make sense of large and complex data sets.
· Hands on, 1 year , experience with QuickBooks Online.
· Conceptual understanding of database structure (tables, relationships, reporting)
· Solid critical thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to work well within a team.
· A compassionate, kind, and patient-centered approach, with sensitivity to the needs of individual affected by cancer.
Preferred Qualifications
· Extensive Microsoft Excel experience with advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
· Direct database experience, including data entry, querying, reporting, and data manipulation.
· Bookkeeping/accounting experience, specifically within QuickBooks Online
· Prior customer service experience.
· Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent practical experience.
