Role Description
This is a part-time (currently estimated at 10 hours per week), 1099 contractor role located in New York, NY, for a Junior Sales Associate. For the right candidate, we can be flexible regarding work schedule.
As a Junior Sales Associate, you will engage with prospective clients to understand their needs and provide information about ADU opportunities. Most of the work is remote, with some in-town travel required to client site visits, public info sessions, etc.
Responsibilities include identifying and reaching out to potential customers, conducting client consultations, preparing proposals, and maintaining positive client relationships. You will also assist in managing sales data, coordinating with the design and project management team, and supporting overall sales efforts to meet company goals.
Minimum Qualifications
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in Business, Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and other sales-related software
- Basic understanding of real estate, construction, or home design
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (particularly in Chinese, Spanish, or Bangla)
- Priority for applicants who live/work/study in ADU-friendly neighborhoods (Eastern Queens, Staten Island; Bronx and Brooklyn also considered)
Pay
- $30 per hour base compensation
- Additional compensation considered for deals closed
