What You'll Do:

·       Follow written and verbal instructions to learn the different job aspects involved in the forge making process

·       Load and unload steel billets to and from the furnace (Lift, push/pull up to 50lbs)

·       Operate a trim press to remove excess steel from the forgings

·       Utilize hoists and other devices to move materials

·       Use basic measuring tools as required

·       Read and interpret blueprints to perform operations

·       Perform inspection operations per specifications

·       Capable of operating large machinery

·       Forklift operation

What We Need from You:

·       High school diploma or equivalent

·       Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs

·       Ability to push and pull up to 50 lbs

·       Ability to operate a forklift truck

·       Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and craftsmanship

·       Work well in a team environment

·       Possess excellent communication skills

·       Possess excellent problem-solving skills

·       Strong attention to detail

·       Strong attention to safety

Preferred Training:

• General Safety
• Lock-out Tag-out
• HAZCOM
• Forklift Safety
• Quality Systems (ISO)
• Crane Operation
