Unison Systems is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our client's team in Irvine, CA.
This is a full-time, on-site position running from August 2026 through 2031. The salary range is $160,000 to $182,000 annually. You will be working in a construction environment on a long-term project involving complex infrastructure development.

This is a full-time, on-site position running from August 2026 through 2031. The salary range is $160,000 to $182,000 annually. You will be working in a construction environment on a long-term project involving complex infrastructure development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement the Owner's QA program for the project, including daily field inspections, specialty inspections, and materials testing coordination
- Manage QA staffing needs, including shift scheduling and rotations based on the construction schedule
- Oversee all QA reporting and documentation in Procore, including daily inspection reports and lab results
- Coordinate with laboratories, surveying teams, and other QA vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery
- Identify and resolve issues with vendor performance proactively
- Manage the resolution of all non-conforming work (NCNs) in collaboration with the Contractor, Designer, and Owner
- Maintain the NCN log and track all quality issues through resolution
- Facilitate pre-activity quality meetings with contractor and QA staff before starting new work activities
- Attend all pertinent construction and project meetings as the primary point of contact for project quality status
- Serve as the quality point person for the client on a high-profile project
Requirements:
- 15 years of experience in construction quality assurance
- Experience with dams, foundation grouting, earthwork, materials processing, zoned embankments, jack & bore, structural concrete, M/E/I equipment, steel pipelines, or water treatment plants
- California public works project experience
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams
- Knowledge of safety requirements and regulatory agencies
- Proactive, accountability-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore
