The Client Care Technician will provide direct and indirect care to clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. The role involves both clerical and clinical functions, requiring interaction with clients and support for office operations.
Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights:
- Provide administrative support by answering phones, greeting clients, scheduling appointments, routing messages, processing prior authorizations, and maintaining accurate client information.
- Support front-office operations by directing visitors, managing lobby flow, handling mail distribution, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
- Assist with clinical care by taking vital signs, rooming clients, administering injections and TB screenings under supervision, preparing medication samples, and coordinating referrals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, care activities, equipment checks, payments, and program-related appointments while ensuring client confidentiality.
- Collaborate with physicians, APRNs, and other staff to coordinate client care, manage medication inventory, support office operations, and ensure continuity of services.
- Demonstrate leadership and professionalism by maintaining staff schedules, supporting team communication, participating in training and supervision, and maintaining required certifications and compliance standards.
- Preferred experience: Patient Care Technician, Unit Clerk, Emergency Medical Technician, Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, Office Manager, State Tested Nursing Assistant, Nursing Intern/Extern.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to handle sensitive information confidentially, and willingness to work in a dynamic environment.
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet agency needs.
