Hourly Rate: $37.90
Job Description: This RN will be responsible for providing nursing duties on the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). This program provides services to adults with severe and persistent mental illness, substance related disorder and persons with co-occurring mental health and substance use needs. CSU is a locked/secured sixteen (16) bed residential program designed to provide (24) hour crisis, psychiatric and substance abuse stabilization services.
Position Responsibilities: Will work up to 29 hours a week, based on the needs of the program. This is a 24-hour facility so hours will vary according to the needs of the clinic, some weekends on an as needed basis.
Competencies: Ability to assess, plan for, and provide basic nursing skills; knows procedures including developing, implementing and revising plan of care. Knowledge of nursing policies, procedures, protocols, treatments, standards of care and nurse practice act. Knowledge of the procedures for medication administration and can administer oral, subcutaneous, sublingual and IM medications, knowledge of pharmacology. Knowledge of immunization regulations and protocols. Must be computer proficient.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Must have a valid Georgia RN license with no limitations.
