Summary:
The Steel Operator works directly with team members to support production initiatives. They perform duties such as set-up, operate, and tend various machines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates specialty equipment which may include but is not limited to hand tools, grinders, presses, hydraulic shears, punches, saws, drills, and industrial rollers.
- Produce quality work that meets company expectations.
- Reports defective material questionable conditions to department supervisor.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
- Satisfy the company attendance requirements.
- Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
