What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapy Assistant position at Uniquely Staffed?
We are an agency that places specialized caregivers with families, and we are currently seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) or Occupational Therapist (OT) for this position. Most schedules with our company are 40 hours per week, and we offer two weeks of paid time off as well as two additional weeks of flexible time off each year.
The ideal candidate is neuroaffirming, knowledgeable about autistic development, and understands Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and sensory regulation. You should be fun, creative, and engaging, with a warm presence that helps children feel understood and supported. We are looking for someone who can blend therapeutic expertise with playful, child-led interactions, creating an environment where each child can thrive.
