Position Overview:
Role: Inpatient Pharmacist
Location: Berlin, New Hampshire (Rural Setting)
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: 7:00/7:30 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM (40 hrs/week)
- Rotating weekends (every 3rd weekend): Saturday & Sunday 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Start: ASAP preferred
Job Description:
The Pharmacist will support multiple departments including ICU, L&D, Med/Surg, and ED, ensuring safe and effective medication use across the facility.
Key responsibilities include:
- Verifying, preparing, and dispensing medications
- Collaborating with physicians and clinical teams on medication therapy
- Supporting patient care across multiple units
- Working independently, especially during weekend shifts
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with safety standards
Important Notes:
- Rural location – housing may be limited (candidates should plan ahead)
- No local candidates (must live 50 miles from facility)
Submission Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of current hospital experience – REQUIRED
- 2–5 years total experience preferred
- (1 year acceptable if fully hospital-based with Meditech experience)
- BLS (AHA) – REQUIRED
- Must be willing to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Critical Access Hospital experience
- Travel experience
- Meditech experience
- Omnicell experience
Pay: $72.34 - $80.00 per hour
